Let’s see…
What would I like for Christmas? I can think of a couple things. Bareback saddle pad, guitar, business marketing plan mapped out, great health and of course world peace.
I am not quite sure if I will receive any of those and that’s okay. Because I broke down and bought myself a gift.
Let me tell you all about my Acer Mini Laptop.
My Little Acer Mini
I have invested in one of those little Acer Mini laptops. It has been a great investment for me because I do a lot on the road away from the house, for example, sitting, waiting for the kids to get out of their activity class.
The little Acer Mini weighs less than 3 lbs. It fits easily into my purse. It is not as cumbersome and as heavy as my Dell laptop.
Don’t get me wrong. I do enjoy my Dell, but that computer I save for the house.
The acer mini has a 3 cell battery that lasts 2.5 hours ( you can get a 6 cell), it contains 1 GB and has 120 GB on hard drive. This little Acer Mini almost has the same specs as the Dell, but the Acer lacks some bells and whistles because of the size. It doesn’t have a CD/DVD drive.
I actually have a squidoo page of Me and My Acer Mini. I enjoy the computer that much. I actually look forward to leaving the house just so I can whip this baby out and start working. I get some of my best ideas away from the house. Yesterday I went to Barnes and Noble with this and got a lot of work done. It felt great.
I bought mine at Walmart for the same price that
Amazon.com has their Acer Aspire One 8.9-inch Mini Laptop
has. I was going to buy it from Amazon.com at first but the Walmart here came through and had some in stock.
I cannot say enough good things about this investment. I went from only doing work at the house because of the big size of the Dell to complete mobility. This is a handy dandy piece of machinery with a handy dandy price tag. Make your business mobile.
Take a peek at the Acer Mini and see what you think. Could it help you and your business out?
What is on you Christmas List? Have you bought any gifts for yourself yet?
