hi Gail,
Glad you liked the video and that it could help you. I am not fond of the drilling method. My attempts turned out bad. My candles ended up chipped, the wicks may turn out crooked etc. So, for me this was easier.
My friends now are trying to convince me to put wick holes in my molds.
I am experimenting with this to see how my silicone holds up.
It is doing pretty good so far. Holding up well and not tearing.
Blessings,
Dawn
P.S. if you have any questions for me just ask. Would love to try to answer them and it maybe done in a video

Thanks for posting this! We have been searching for a safer & eaiser way to wick without the use of drilling. My helpers are pretty young also :) so this was very informative! Thanks again!

Hi ya Dawn...
Thank you so so much for taking time to make a video! Love it! That's exactly what I am going to do ...what a great idea! I have drilled my candles after they are hard to make room for the wick but I get alot of breakage. I too cannot bear the thought of putting holes into expensive silicone...once you get a hold they simply turn into tears and you end up throwing them away eventually.
Thanks you for working so hard to make us better candle makers...
Best Regards
Charlene

Here is a nice email from Charlene about the tutorial.

Thanks so much Charlene. I am greatful this will help you out. And also thank you for the encouraging words.
Many Blessings
