When you put together an article it is crucial to stick to the topic at hand. Rambling is not allowed. Don’t fill your writing with filler words otherwise known as “garbage text”. Find out exactly what your readers want and give it to them. Give your readers relevant content to keep them coming back for more.
Rule of Thumb:
* After you write your first draft go through it again and remove any unnecessary words. These words bore your audience. An example of a commonly wasted word is “that”. It a sentence makes sense without “that” in it take it out.

6. Definitions
All of these add length to your content without boring your audience and giving them “garbage text”. There are other ways that you can add value to your content without using filler.
Another important point is to re-read your article. If you need to read a sentence or paragraph more than once to understand it, more than likely your readers will too. Rephrase your information so it is not so confusing.
