I have a 10 mold challenge that I am asking you to help me with.
I have until the end of September to meet this challenge. Are you up for helping me bomb around ideas.
I am in my basement making this video. That is why I look a bit yellow.
Enjoy the goofy video of me. I will say my hair is way to long and it is time to get a hair cut even though my husband won’t much appreciate that.

Thanks Carol,
Found my notebook. Hubby had it to write down a material list for the bathroom he is putting in the basement. Thanks so much. I want to do a couple more harvest molds and move on to Christmas.
Sorry you couldn’t view the video. Hope you can see the next one.
Hi Dawn,
I would like to see you make a poinsettia leaf (blossom).
How about a S’more, also a harvest moon with a bat flying in it?
With winter on the way a skate would be nice, maybe unlaced with the tongue turned a bit for more dimension.
A Christmas wreath made with grapevine or straw would be pretty.
How about a black bear? A jingle bell about 3 to 4 ounces.
I still could not view the video of you!
Lucy,
Thanks also for your ideas. Thank you also for keeping my family in your prayers. That means so much.
I love your business name “Buttermilk Hill Primitives”. I am very excited for you. Don’t you just love the paperwork that goes along with this.
I wrote your ideas down in my “handy dandy” notebook.
I actually do have indian corn ,but I never put it up on the site. Time to get it out.
Many Blessings to you.
Dear Dawn,
I am so sorry to hear about your nephew! You & your family will definitely be in my prayers. I think getting your creative juices flowing is a great way to ease your stress. I finally got my own candle business off the ground – the paper-work aspect of it, anyway. I’ve decided to call myself “Buttermilk Hill Primitives” since my address is Buttermilk Hill Road. I would love to see a primitive-type house mold. Maybe a saltbox or farmhouse. I’d love a small pillar size, maybe even a hurricane to make electrics from. I also love all things Halloween: skeletons, cats, witch hats, etc. Maybe some acorns or Indian Corn. For Christmas, maybe a stocking to fill or gift-shaped tarts. I always love Santa-Crows:) I’ll keep thinking, since I want to invest in some good quality molds soon.
Primitive Blessings,
Lucy
Thanks so much Cheryl. That does help me out. I am rebuking this darn dry spell through your ideas. =) Have to look into cornacopia sizes. I love the harvest time.
I am having a hard time finding a witch for my halloween line. I have found a cornacopia for fall, but the little embeds to put in the cornacopia like a small corn, grape clusters, etc. It’s hard to find embeds small enough to be coming out of the cornacopia. I don’t know if I’m explaining it right. I haven’t really started on Christmas yet, but I will give it thought. Hope this helps. – Cheryl
