There are many ways to drive traffic to your site. You may want to search and test out quite a few of these options to see what best fits your target visitor.

  • Article Marketing – Write and share your articles in article directories.  You have got to make sure your bio includes a strong call to action and a link to your site.  *Wise tip*use your keywords in the  article to make it easier to find by the search engines.
  • Using Social Networks – Some of these include Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon and Digg.  There are actually over 600 bookmarking and social networking sites on the Internet. Can you imagine.

* The main point with social networking is developing relationships with your community.  You want to build relationships first and foremost, share smidgens of information about yourself and occasionally share a link or special offer to your  site.

  • Blog Posts –  If you do not have a blog for your website, create one and share quality information or recommendations in your posts.
  • Blog Comments – Search out blogs that are relevant to your business.  Make meaningful comments that provide good information on that blog.  This is a great way to establish links to your business.  Linking to relevant blogs create good links.  Google likes relevant links.  Don’t be afraid to comment on your competitors blogs.  Competition is good and most realize the power of working together so while your are helping with comments, you will build a relationship with them too.
  • Giveaways & Contests – Create traffic by hosting a giveaway or contest.  You can work with other website owners to create traffic for everyone.

* Example – Get 3 or 4 site owners with services or products they are willing to donate.  Each of those site owners get to give away the “package ” of 3 or 4 items.  Have your readers participate by visiting all of the sites and leaving comments or whatever you would like them to do.  Be creative, but make it fun and easy.
