I have tried many techniques. Some worked like a charm and others went belly up. You have got to find what works for you.
I have added to my driving traffic list. Here are some more ideas how to get traffic to your site and visitors into your email box.
- Link Love Posts – I haven’t done one of these yet, but I am soon too. This is where you write a “round up” post where you travel the Internet looking for great articles on your topic. Provide links to these articles on your site. Add commentary and make the link valuable to your readers. Share the link to your post with the people you have linked to as a courtesy. (another great way to build relationships)
- Guest Posts – Offer to write a blog post on a complementary site. Bloggers are always looking for fresh content. Do some research. When you have found at least 10 potential blogs email the owners and make an offer to write a post. Your accepted post should contain a short bio or resource box at the end with keywords and links back to your site.
- Interviews – Find places to share your information via teleseminars, webinars, podcasts, live blogs or email interviews. The interview will provide you with a relevant platform to get your name and URL out to many people.
- Contributors – Look for potential blog post contributors. These provide fresh content and also provide quality content to your readers. People are usually willing to write a guest post for you as long as they can link back to their own site or product.
- Brandable Reports – Either create your own products or look for ones you can recommend that use brandable reports as a marketing tool. You may be wondering what brandable reports means. These are special reports that can be given away that include your own affiliate links making the benefit 2 fold. You have content for your readers and the possibility of making money through these affiliate sites.
The Key – Find out what your target readership or market is looking for and give it to them.
