Candle Tip: Painting Your Candles

acrylicpaintAre you ready to get a little creative with your soap or candles?  Lets add a touch of color.

I never thought of painting on wax before until I came across this acrylic paint medium. This medium allows you to easily paint on wax, soaps and other slippery surfaces. I figured one of these days this would come in handy.

This acrylic paint medium sure did come in handy. Right now the main use for this is to paint snowman faces and buttons on my snowman pillars.

Being able to paint on wax opened a window of candle creativity for me. There was no way I could add a good snowman face with wax. At least I did not want to try. It just sounds messy.

My happy snowman.

Now I have a very cute grubby snowman made from my grubby snowman silicone mold.

I have heard of chandlers painting Easter eggs with this medium. You could also paint up candy candes, faces on any wax figure and more.
Many Blessings,

Dawn

P.S. What methods do you use to paint on wax? What candle projects do you paint on?
