Where To Host Your Blog Without Breaking Your Bank

in For Your Candle & Soap Business

We are in a day and age where saving money is so crucial to getting ahead.  I have been suggesting to many candle and soap online business owners  that even though Blogger is free and there are other free blog templates that free in this case was not the way to go unless you are absolutely down and out.

The goal is to have you own your own online business.  You do not own any of the information that YOU invest in on the free blog services.   You have invested a lot of time and effort into those free services and they have every right to take your blog offline.

But what if i told you that hosting your own blog is very reasonable.  I have been shopping around at looking at host company possibilities.  Right now I am using 2 hosting companies to host my blogs because of  pour decision on my part.   I don’t want you to be making the same mistake.

I host through Hostgator and Arvixe, but I found that Arvixe is more reasonable through more research.

At $4.00 per month you can have them host up to 5 active domains.

That works out to $10.00 to buy your domain name and $48/year to host your site.  That is a whopping $58.00/ year that you can have a site online.  You just need to make $58.00 worth of product to cover your costs.  Doesn’t that sound reasonable?

I actually use 3 hosting companies.  DIY, Hostgator and Arvixe.  Talk about money flying right out of my computer.  When I finally put all my finances in an excel spread sheet I could see where I could save money.  I was so disappointed with myself not having  done this  sooner to save.  I don’t want that happening to you.

Yes, I host my main business through the feature cart shopping cart, but why go that route when you can sell through a blog.  If I could do it all over again I would solely sell through my blog.  I wouldn’t have a need with a shopping cart because of the other shopping cart opportunities that businesses like paypal offer.  It is as easy as cutting and pasting a shopping cart button to your blog.  How easy is that?  That cuts out the middle man and all the $$ that would go to the middle man goes right back into your pocket.

Many Blessings,

Dawn
