My Brother's Christmas Gift. He loves to snowmobile
What do you do with those leftover wax chunks or crumbles?
I usually put the chunks aside for myself or for friends and family. No one likes waste and friends and family enjoy the leftovers. But what can you do with the chunks to still turn a profit?
I never got creative with my wax chunks. I placed everything in a plastic bag and gave them away or saved them for myself. I usually called them my candle scraps. What I found out from my friends and family is that when they put the mixture into a simmering pot the smell was wonderful. They loved my scraps. They were begging me for my candle scraps.
You can put all the wax chunk scents that smell good together into a bag and sell them as is for a bargin price or you can get very creative and make them into a great smelling chunk candle.
I have always been fascinated with chunky candles. I enjoyed the color combinations and the fact that you prevent waste.
With wax chunk candles you can create beautiful candles unique to your candle business.
Here is a left over chunk candle scrap candle that I am making my brother for Christmas. I am so excited to give this to him.
Materials I am using in this candle project:
- Painted Tin Can – ready for grubbying
- Wick, leftover wax chunks, bamboo skewer, melted wax
- Christmas Cheer
- Decorate your tin can
- Glue your wick to the bottom of the can
- Throw your candle scraps into the can

- Melt down other leftover wax and pour on top of all the scraps

Allow it to cool and Voila!
I am excited to see how this candle turns out. It has a mixture of dutch apple, apple clove butter, bayberry, winter candle apple, and sugar corn pudding. I think that my brother will really enjoy this one.
What wax chunks have you mixed together.
Many Blessings,
