Today is “Organize Your Home Office Day”. I had an office makeover take place in my basement at the beginning of January. I am very pleased to tell you that my office makeover is done. My dear husband spent most of his free time in the basement remodeling the area.
It makes a huge difference when you have a nice organized office to bury yourself into. Writing, designing, and just plain chattering on twitter.com and facebook.com can comfortably take place in your office.

I admit that I could have done a better job of taking care of the “old” office. I guess my attitude of having another basement office shows through in the pics. My hubby kept telling me that January was the month that he was going to work his remodeling magic. I was just waiting patiently for the beginning of the glorious 2010 year.

I am really enjoying my new, organized office. It is a joy to come down to the basement to work. I don’t normally say that. The basement isn’t one of my favorite places to work, but that has totally changed.
