5 Simple Ways to Improve Your Business And Stay Motivated

Have you ever found yourself in a funk?  When you do, do you calculate how much time lost?

I go through a rough unmotivated stage at least twice a year.  This past time I lost about 1 months worth of productivity.  I couldn’t get my act straight.  I didn’t know if I was coming or going.  I diverted my energy into what brought my business the most money and slacked off on everything else.  That included twitter, facebook, blogging, and the soap and candle mastermind sessions.

I am out of the funk now trying to gain back what I lost.  I came to the conclusion that I can’t go through these “lack of motivation” patches.  I had to figure a way to avoid them.

Here are 5 tips to help you stay motivated and improve your business:

  1. Read – I believe that  ”knowledge is power”.  I read anything from internet marketing, local marketing, sales copywriting, inspirational stories and newspaper and Internet ads.  That is a lot of reading.  How do I know what to read when time is slim.  I read whatever I know I am going to put into use in 2 days.   For myself, it shows me what I need to do to reach my business goal.
  2. Organize – Keep your work and business area organized.  This helps keep the clutter out of both your creativity and business.  There is nothing worse then entering your office and coming into a pile of books paper, bill and what nots.  This hinders your creativity flow.  If you have trouble keeping and staying organized, have someone help you.
  3. Meet People – Meet people that are in business like you.  Bomb around ideas.  Participate in mastermind sessions and
  4. Look to what is ahead -
  5. Learn New Marketing Techniques -
